‘La Loire à Vélo’ is a cycling route which stretches 600km along the length of France’s longest river, from Cuffy, near Nevers, to St Brévin-les-Pins on the Atlantic Coast. Last summer, Pedro, Gariné and myself set off from Nantes and spent a weekend travelling east along the route to Fontevraud l’Abbaye, covering nearly 150km of the route in the process.

    1. What a blooming awesome video!!

The loire region looks lovely – I went on french exchange to angers many, many years ago and spent most of it grumping about what a horrible time I was having – this makes me want to go back and explore properly! I do remember being fascinated by that tapestry though.

    2. Sara, what a fantastic video and a wonderful way to explore! This would be perfect for me as a keen (albeit new) cyclist! Were you there on holiday?
