Cycling the Portuguese Riviera
My first ride this season is along the Portuguese Riviera. This area of Portugal centers on the coastal cities of Cascais and Estoril which are west of Lisbon (Lisboa). You will see several beaches including Praia de Carcavelos, one of Portugal’s popular surfing destinations.
Is this area a good fit for serious cyclists? I’ll provide my assessment at the end and would be interested in hearing what you think. Please share your ideas for future destinations in the comments below.

Beautiful scenery!
too bad about not being a dedicated bike path… was it hard to get your bike on train (crowds)??? Do you have a monthly train pass or just pay as you go? Thanks again for the great videos.
How beautiful! I need to visit Portugal, I'm sold. Thanks for sharing your fun adventure :))
I remember the Docas being a great place to eat, under the bridge, gets lively after 10 pm… https://irishco.pt/ is one of the restaurants… saude
I DEFINITELY want to bike ride with you in Europe. But I hope by then, you can find better bike path areas where you don’t have so many people. That’s your mission should you choose to accept it! Haha
beautiful day for a ride, loved being there vicariously; thanks for sharing
To respect the bike line only in the north of Europe Danmark, Netherland, Sweden, Norway…
So picturesque! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more bike rides and dog walks.
