This video contains the first three days of my one month trip through Iceland. I started in the beginning of august and ended my journey at the end of august of 2020.

During my trip I started my own foundation to collect money for the Koraal foundation. Eventually pay for a specialised Van Raam E-bike to give the less fortuned.

    1. Hi Thomas,
Very nice series. I very much enjoyed watching it. I had planned a similar tour by myself last year but canceled it due to COVID – maybe I shouldn’t have. I have one question for you: where did you leave your bike bag in Keflavik and what system did you use? Would appreciate your response. Thanks again. MJ

    2. FYI as someone who visits Iceland often and rides there often too. I just wanted you to know that the locals/ friends I ride with all tell me to "stay off the moss" and on the trails. They said it takes decades for the moss to grow back from hiking and riding damage and it is one of the few plants that prevents soil erosion. Looks like you had a great rip and I am heading there in September 2021 to bisect the island from Selfoss to Myvatn.

    3. Hi, great inspiring video! How did you choose/select the gravel routes to take? I am planning a trip to iceland and looks like most of the routes in the highlands are for MTB. Being in a MTB trail with the grave bike would be really a mess 🙁
Any advice for planning the route with gravel bike? thanks!

    4. Wow dit is wel echt een dream come treu hoor! Ik zou alleen wat moeite hebben met hele lange rechte stukken weg icm de regen.

    5. Great video. I am planning to do a similar trip. I want to bike the ring road in Iceland. If you dont mind answering how much was the cost of your trip? I dont think I can afford a full month in Iceland but maybe 2-3 weeks. Any info you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
