It snowed at the end of August 2023, so we had to go and see how these beautiful mountains were looking in a white summer.
We took the bicycle up there and went to record a downhill that definitely deserves to be on this “Best Roads In Europe” list: the beautiful ascensions (both sides), the views over the valley, the glacier with the source of the Rhone river, and the imperial Furka with the iconic Belvedere hotel as a small spot in the middle of the climb…
Ok, perhaps we did not have the shiniest blue in the sky, but this way we have an excuse to come back there soon and do it again!
