Motovlog 34 | Serbia: Crossing the Serbian – North Macedonian Border on My Motorcycle

Hello Beautiful Earthlings! In this video, I am absolutely freezing riding in the Balkan Winter and crossing the border from Nis, Serbia to North Macedonia on my bike. I was spoiled and I didn’t even know it. Born and raised in California, it really is the sunny state and we experience 2 seasons: summer and summer. I’m joking, but it sure feels like great weather 10 months out of the year.

I’m going to be honest. I am absolutely miserable riding this day, but was blessed with so many acts of kindness. Can you count them all?
1. The gas station attendant warmed my hands
2. They gave me hot tea at the gas station for free to warm me up
3. I was given cookies by a mother and daughter at the Serbia/ North Macedonia border
4. A man got out of his car and told me “Enjoy” at the border
5. A taxi driver guided me to my hostel once I was in Skopje, North Macedonia

What do all these people have in common? They are good people, crossing cultures, countries, language barriers to assist a fellow suffering human and they did not ask for anything in return. Even if it was a miserable day, it was one of my favorite days my entire expedition so far.
