“In Kos, it rains only 8 days per year!”, and apparently all concentrated at the beginning of March when this expedition took place. Three cyclists had to face an unexpected, yet fascinating situation, and ride three days around this beautiful island of the Dodecanese archipelago testing the all new Exploro Ultra.

I had been pining after this frame design since it’s original release. The bike arrived with crimped brake hoses (professional shop discovered when bleeding), and customer service suggested it could’ve happened at the shop upon removal. In hindsight the action and recoil of the brakes never felt quite right so I’m sure this happened during assembly with the internally routed bars. The hoses were replaced at my cost. The cassette came loose after EVERY ride, causing the drive train to wear quickly (it has since been replaced). The wheels came out of true after 100km and rear bearing shot after 1,000km. I’m 66kg and I rode this group on mostly paved surfaces and maintained it well. 3T customer service did NOTHING to resolve any issues and I’m still trying to work with Campag per 3T customer service. I could’ve have been a 3T guy for life and I still love the frame, but the experience has left a horrid taste in my mouth and I regret my purchase.
