    Hej Allihopa!
I was an exchange student in Sweden way back in 97/98 and I’m back to pedal the length of this beautiful country. I’m starting my adventure above the Arctic Circle in Kiruna, and I’ll make my way down to the bottom of Sweden where my host family lives. In this episode, Mike and I head toward the coast, ride the High Coast Bridge, and find an epic camp spot next to a lake. 1. To avoid puffiness, when sleeping on an air mattress, you have to make sure your head is elevated. On an air mattress, you’ll tend to tip head down and puffiness.

    2. That knee is bothering you and I hope it feels better soon. But it’s awesome for me because it got you out of that single track wilderness onto roads I could imagine bike touring. Thank you.

    3. Just a correction that the Höga Kusten bridge at 1867m is the third longest bridge after Öresundsbron (7845m) which connects Sweden and Denmark.
Sundsvallsbron (2109m) and Ölandsbron (6072m) are both longer than the one at Höga Kusten.
There are also some rail bridges that are longer, but who cares about them.

    4. Ryan it is amazing to share your Swedish adventure. Sharing that trip with a local made all the difference. I lived in Finland for a year so memories came flooding back! especially those mosquitos !

    5. Looks like you were lucky when crossing the Högakusten Bridge when I cycled across it 2 summers ago there was so much traffic that it really wasn't so much fun and not really enjoyable with lots of trucks passing by closely. It looked pretty empty when you rode across …

    6. Loll oat meal is not so healty..i cant wait for the plant eater to wake up and realize their veggies and grain are poisoned and the diet is killing many peoples that should not eat that,, there many kind of human too,, different variation ,,as different from the outside of our body, we are different metabolic wise.

    7. There is no such thing as a seagull. Does not exist. These birds are Black-headed Gulls (Chroicocephalus ridibundus). Actually gulls are not that well adapted to living at sea, but many live close to the sea. Still, seagulls do not exist anywhere.
      Loving your trip through Sweden!

    8. It would be interesting to hear about the areas you ride through.

In case anyone is wondering too: The High Coast Bridge (Swedish: Högakustenbron), also known as the Veda Bridge (Swedish: Vedabron), is a suspension bridge crossing the mouth of the river Ångermanälven, derived from the Old Norse anger, which means "deep fjord".

Beautiful views! Thanks, Ryan & Mike!
