Vuelta a España 2023 stage 8 highlights. A 165km mountainous stage from Dénia to Xorret de Catí on the Costa Blanca. There are bonus seconds on the Puerto de la Carrasqueta (10.9km at 4.6%) and the Xorret de Catí climb (3.9km at 11.4%) peaks just 3.3km from the finish.

Good effort from LM who left the MR to a strong SK. RE had a HT controlling the race. Hard to tell who's JV TL, JV or PR. Not sure EM can step in the battle, IMO. We'll see after the RD. The ITT will be crucial. LFTI.
Kuss will take some unshipping if he goes into a protected rider mode ! Jumbo have a trident spear to nail any moves against them . awesome position to be in.
I think remco should rather focus on classics with this competition.

The vocabulary used by the commentators on this channel always make me laugh. The only other time I hear the word "resplendent" is in church hymns! They must have worn out quite a few thesauruses.
