    1. Gorgeous riding day, hotel at the start looked lovely. Rode some of this area a few years ago and Porto is doable in a week from the UK on your own bike using Portsmouth to Santander.
Remember the stunning night time view across the estuary with all the Port branded buildings illuminated. (Took ages to ride out of Porto though)

    2. Great vid. If you feel inclined to visit New Zealand (motorcycle nirvana, particularly the South Island)), I'm sure you'd appreciate it. Your winter is our summer. A good excuse to escape the cold for a few weeks. And we drive on the left. You can hire a GS. Not a cheap adventure but an unforgettable one. Let me know when you're ready and I'll sort out the spare room.😉

    3. Great video of probably the most beautiful road in Portugal. When were you around here?
I could give you a bit of insight on what is this Douro Valley if you're interested (and keen on getting bored to death with a bit of history)…

Love your videos, keep it up!

    4. Another wonderful riding road. I have to agree, the standard of the food and drinks was marvellous, and at a price that made you eat more than you really needed lol. I too followed the Douro, but on the other side (N108), just as amazing, to Peso da Regua, then north on the N2. I have a feeling your 2 amazing bridges may be at that river crossing. Looks like a reverse trip may be needed to compare haha. Loving it as usual.

    5. Thanks for another enjoyable video.
We flew over Portugal last week ( 737 passenger ) and you could see the Douro snaking across the country and from the sky it looked spectacular.

    6. My friends and I are thinking of going to North Spain & of course Portugal this year. We would have 6 day’s riding over there, is there any routs on top of this you would recommend.
      Thanks
      Phil

    7. Have you ever thought about taking some professional rider courses to improve your confidence and skills on the bike. They may help when you encounter less than perfect road condition which from what you say are your achilles heel

    8. Sorry TMF I probably missed you say it, but what valley and river was this? I did watch most of it but you just kept saying 'this valley and this road'. As you say it does look beautiful. Finally a day without rain and fog.
