From sunny skies to a shivering cold rain, the high-altitude course in Andorra for the fifth stop on the UCI Mountain World Cup circuit was not only a physical test but a mental one as well. Brutally steep climbs and twisting technical descents became ever more punishing once the rain arrived for the cross-country race on Sunday.

However, 21-year-old Mona Mitterwallner delivered a flawless performance for her first-ever elite World Cup victory.

  1. Love the video, but one would think that if someone on your team won their first World Cup Victory that it would contain not only aspects of the team behined her, but perhaps a bit more about her.
