Hey everyone! We’re Eric Lagerstrom and Paula Findlay, and we started That Triathlon Life! This is the story of Eric’s short track and standard distance pro races at XTERRA Germany, in Zittau.
Since 2006, the competition has taken place in the Zittauer Gebirge nature park in the southeastern border triangle of Germany on the borders of Poland and Czech Republic.

Nice video and great content as always. In Europe there are several races of this style. I recommend Xterra Lake Scanno in Italy, so hard.

That looked brutal
2 years ago I went to the doctor due to low energy and got all types of bad news. Having two young kids I knew I needed to make a change. I was 310lbs, and I started walking/running to now running 5 days a week. I am now 240lbs and feel absolutely amazing. No more bad news!! I lift weights as well and started to ride a road bike recently. Cardio has been great, but it started with running

Stellar performance…5th when you are out of your element, 7 time zones from home…I agree, a little more strength work and perhaps a trip to some rocky climbing to prep…podium is entirely possible.
