I ask this because a more experienced rider may go with dual upper and lower cables, but a newer rider or someone who is just using the bike to get around would be more inclined to use something you showed. Either way, it’s likely they’ll be the longest option. It’s fine to have more cable than you need, but it will bind if you kink a cable that’s too short and made for smaller bars.
