I think i’ve narrowed it down to these 4 for my next bike. Looking for something that could handle long bikepacking trips while also being a capable mixed surface bike. Kinda a “do it all” bike. The lauf is enticing but tbh i’m fearful of carbon’s durability, but the deal is almost too good to pass up for the components. Any input is welcome

Two of those are not anything like the others. Do you currently have any other bikes? Are you planning on keeping them? The first 2 are much beefier and allow much chunkier tires. If you’re looking at the sutra ltd for example and reading reviews be aware that the current sutra ltd is actually what they used to call the sutra ultd. Much more on the mountain bike side of things.
Do you want a drop bar mtb oriented rig or do you want a fast gravel grinder? Maybe you have a road bike and want to branch out towards the MTB side of spectrum or do you have a road bike and that’s where you’re comfortable and thus want to stay in that range
If you can get the lauf for a similar price as the rest its a very good deal and what i would choose. All the bikes are extremly different. The kona and surly are trail oriented bikes with droppers meaning the geo is alot more like a mtb than the more road focused bike such as the grizl or the lauf. So it really just depends what you plan to use the bike for. The Surly or Kona i would not consider if i was not using it for only mtb riding. The surly also comes with basic microshift components the axs on the lauf is alot better.
Carbon durability is not a issue that you will ever have to worry about.
