Coming from Sweden where all our races are sanctioned by the federation (and thus indirectly the UCI) I don’t really see a reason for all the negativity that surfaces any time the UCI is mentioned in regards to gravel racing.
All our races are published to a central calendar, the license cover insurance, and the federation helps with permits and local authorities. Why is this a bad thing?
