Thats all winter Ima gonna get in UK but cold is cold, how does people keep feet warm? Two pair of socks and overshoes didn't cut today, weather was lile -7°C and after 90 minutes my digits were frozen🥶🥶🥶
Winter boots are much better than overshoes. Warm socks, but not too thick. And when it gets really cold, I use single use feet warmers which do wonders, but I’m not sure if it will really last much more than 2 hours at those temperaturs. https://www.decathlon.si/p/161193-253997-grelnik-nog-30-kosov.html

I cycle in my boots during freezing time. So far zero issues.

I use overshoes and electric socks. The real but expensive answer though is proper winter cycling shoes like the 45nrth Ragnarok or Sidi zero gore.

Want a working budget hack? Double layer socks and thin plastic bag.
I use my summer cycling shoes all season. Best solution is to put normal socks on, preferably some better quality to help ged rid of sweat. Put thin plastic bag over base layer socks and second thin socks on top of it all.
Perfectly reduces wind and keeps feet warm.
Sometimes the sacks are too loosen, so you can strap it around with rubber band or duck tape.

I think heated socks is the only real option if you want to stay out for more than 2hours
