Did some wood work, cut a couple of screws and I installed the Topeak trolley tote folding crate using a couple of camera rig rails and two wood blocks. It’s as secure Topeak designed the mounting sliding adapter.

Very tight fit under the rear rack and the fender is slightly pressed down by the two rails.

One big problem is the quick release lock handle is too tall even with an EZ wheels extender by about 10cm. Found silver color 100mmx15mm ez wheels at 👍. The rear two wheels clearance ok but more room between the ground a the rack with adapter is better.

I hope the 15mm width can fit thr rear two Brompton ez wheels. I measure the width is about 15mm. But it has lots of washers and nuts on those teo wheels. I dont like opening these as I wouldn’t be able to fit all the parts back in the same order.

Anyone have advice on how to upgrade my rear two Brompton ez wheels to these 100mmx15mm wheels?

  1. And keeping the stick bungee cords attached the same as before?

I often wonder why Brompton has this nice from luggage block but nothing modular and easy in and out locking system for the rear.

The Topeak system is great if can be combined into a Brompton rear rack. Maybe Topeak should make a Brompton rack like the many nice racks they have for normal size bikes: all metal quick release mount. Someone should make one!
