On the sixth and final day of the journey, we face a long descent. Almost the entire 95 kilometers is downhill. We will follow the highway down to Nikšić, ride through its streets, and then head toward the 19th-century Carev Bridge. After a short climb from the bridge, we will continue descending into the Zeta River valley. Following the river, we’ll ride through Danilovgrad and eventually reach Podgorica. Podgorica will greet us with scorching heat over 40 degrees Celsius. At the end of the journey, we’ll reflect on the trip—discussing the bike, personal challenges, future plans, successes, and failures of this vibrant adventure.
