I bought a new frame but the fork doesnt fit the hub axle. I've seen where some people filed their forks down to fit but I don't think that will work for me because its carbon and I dont want to mess anything up. Do I need to just buy a new hub and get the wheel rebuilt or is there some other option

You can file small flats on the axle. It barely needs more than the threads off on both sides to fit in.
That looks like you’re trying to fit a wheel with a solid axle to quick release dropouts. Though in theory you may be able to file down the dropouts so the axle can fit (assuming the hub width matches the space between the dropouts), it’s a bad idea. Some dropouts are aluminum bonded to carbon, other dropouts have a carbon core and an aluminum face (to prevent wear from abrasion) – difficult to tell what the case is here. And the chance of not filing the dropouts evenly is also there. Do you see my point?
I’d rather just get a compatible wheel. Take your time, do your research and make sure you get something that fits. Ask a local bike shop, if you’re in doubt.
