Honestly, if you came over and showed me this bike and said you paid 400 bucks, I’d be like “shit, man, that’s sick”
I think this seller is more reasonable than the people who take all the receipts for parts they bought and just add it to the sale price. Yeah, you paid a grand for parts but I’m not.

Offer an even $400, I think that’s pretty solid.

I expected to scroll to the second image and see it priced high at $900 or something. Id pay what they are asking for that bike

You a fool not to, imo.

6 Buds for $5,69? Hell yeah!

I’d say this is fair, you’d spend at least that much putting it together, buy now and save yourself time in the garage and spend more time on the road

Pretty sweet bike! I’d say it’s worth it.

I think it’s reasonablish, especially if you’re in/near a big city and want to avoid wrench time and part seeking.
I’d ask for 400 and settle for 425.

If its exactly what you want I say yes. Its easy to spend way more than that buying a basic Rockhopper and buying additions. But if you think you are going to make changes to this bike I would either buy something more like what you want or more basic as a cheaper starting point.

That’s a $300 setup max anywhere but New York, LA, Portland, Chicago or San Francisco. No dynamo lights and no blingy parts. It’s solid but nothing you don’t see all day every day from a bike co-op.

$420.69 always

Really be sure it fits. 5’9-10 is a stretch for a large frame (at least for me) without the drop bar conversion even with a tall and short stem. If it fits, I think it’s reasonable price for a hop-on-and-go bike if you don’t plan on spending more to make it fit or work for you.

There’s a similar bike at my LBS that’s my size, when I did a test ride, it feels good. Not sure if it’s aluminum or steel though. Comparing to the bike OP posted, small differences—-like 90s trek instead of 90s Specialized. Deore DX instead of LX
Anywho, the LBS wants $620 for it. And I can get a used hydraulic gravel bike with Shimano 105 for $800. So I haven’t pull the trigger yet.
If it was selling for $420 or so. I probably would had snagged it. But I think $500-$600 is steep, even tho DX was the top tier back then.

its a beaut! if it fits you well on a test ride id say thats a reasonable price, could maybe get it down to 400/420 like others have said.
400 seems fair
Nice bike and fair price.
Looks good to me tbh
Pass for me but I have two of those already
It’s nice bike but it seems a lot. Don’t know where you live but in Europe you can find bike like that for half the price.
