So there's these brakes I need to take care of. The pads were toast, unevenly worn because the brake was offcentered and the pistons were pretty nasty, and that's ok. Disk wear looks ok, but the pad wear doesn't. It shows better on the other pad, but you can still see it (the wear is where the darker mark is in the bigger pad, the upper portion wasn't in contact with the pad).
Now, something looks off. Was the adapter mounted the wrong way (shown in picture, I'm the other way would have set the point of contact closer to the disk)?
Moreover, I bought some cheap replacements that are quite smaller (which is not good).but actually stand a little "taller", which I think would be perfect with the brake mounted with the adapter flipped.
What's going on here?
