  1. I had the b17, super comfy but didn’t like the look of it. I went with the c15 carved now, could look into the c17 or even c19 if you want a more wider/causal saddle

    Match the grips/bartape and tirewalls.

Either swap it all to brown or swap in a black saddle.

I hate to say it, but since it was a gift, maybe find something on the bike that you can swap for brown accent to lessen it’s “sore thumbness” 😜
I hate to say grips or tires. Maybe some leather tassels on your grips. 😅🤣😭
Oooh. Maybe a nice bag for the front rack.

My point is that if it wasn’t alone it’s be worlds better.

    And. Nice bike.

  4. imo everything looks best black but can’t beat the comfort. I rode around on a brown one for years. Same situation. Got from a friend.

  5. If you decide you love the saddle and don’t want to shell out extra money, you could maybe try staining or dying the leather to black or at least a really dark brown or you could pick up brown grips and brown/tan wall tires to tie it all together. I think brown saddles can look good and you don’t necessarily have to stick to “the rules” of aesthetics as long as what you do is deliberate and you can make it work. I have a brown saddle on a silver bike with silver components and yellow bar tape that gives me UPS vibes. My bike has tan wall tires and I found “brown marble” bar tape that has both the dark brown and lighter brown that I think should look pretty sick. But until my yellow tape is trashed I’m having fun pretending I’m a UPS truck.

  6. As it darkens and patinas I think it will become a beautiful personality-centerpiece for the build. Matching is cool and all but I think individuality is top in the end, and I can see from the paint job that you probably feel similarly.

my opinion is it needs to fit and make your ride and ass an happy experience.

looks, opinions from others and such is wasting time.

since, no one is even gonna get the chance to write an in depth analysis of your saddle sense of fashion.

real life is, I see a saddle if:
    -you are sprinting to impress,
-to catch up to that girl who just crushed your level of fitness that you worked so hard to attain…and she has that perfect pear shaped power outputting limbs.
-waiting at that red light while gazing, out of breath, at that pair of power outputting shaped limbs.
-wrecked and just laying down on the scalding hot pavement while maintaining eye contact of that outputting pear shaped pair of heavenly limbs.

yeah, if that saddle is a comfortable fit….those limbs though

  8. It would look best in black.

But if you got brown grips, maybe replace your cargo net with a brown one… it will look better.

  9. It’s only such a stark difference because the leather looks so new. I personally like the look, and it will only look better with age and use as it patinas.

Plus you won’t see it while it’s under your butt anyway.
Sick bike, stay safe out there friend!
