Hi all!
I've wanted to get into biking for a little while, and a neighbor just so happened to post this for free on our neighborhood's Facebook page, so I picked it up pretty much sight unseen. Can anyone tell me about it? Is it worth cleaning up, repairing, and riding, or is it junk? It rides pretty nice so I think I'm holding onto it for now.

Totally worth it. The bull moose bars! 🤌
Looks like a Raleigh Elkhorn, which was one of their higher end mtbs back in the mid-late 80s.
That’s a Raleigh mountain tour Elkhorn. Nice bike. I have one too, but with a slingshot stem instead of the bullmoose bars. Don’t change anything other than the tires and brake pads.
If if‘s worth anything is totally up to you. embrace it or kick it. nobody can make this choice except you.
