      I really don't understand this whole hating on or outing celebrities for using private jets from an environmental stand point, like honey flights (commercial or private) make up 8% of emissions. Cars contribute 57% of emissions. There are 100 companies that are responsible for 71% of carbon emissions. Taylor Swift is not destroying the planet by flying in her private jet. And if you all care so fucking much about oil and the environment then get your priorities straight because this should be so far down on the list of things you should be worried about and fighting to change. Taylor Swift can't use public transportation or commercial flights. She can't even own a home without multiple people breaking into them multiple times, one of which slept in her bed. It's not that she doesn't care about the environment, she does cares about a lot of causes and helps a lot of causes and has single handed changed policies, the law, and the musical landscape. she cares about the environment, but at the same point she's the most famous person on the planet who is loved and hated, she isn't a celebrity anymore she's a phenomenon. She has had to have almost the same level of security implemented as the president because she's so huge and causes such a huge stir no matter where she is or what she's doing, which is why when she isn't touring or doing shows she's in her house and stays isolated. Does she use her private jet a lot? yes, but please can these environmentalists give me and actual feasible and safe way for her to travel when she has to fly? Taylor is one of those people who would absolutely have no problem with hopping on a commercial flight, but she would disrupt the entire flight for everyone, not to mention how difficult it would be for her security team to do their jobs. what do they want her to do? drive across the country do to her tours? because that would be way more harmful to the environment than her private jet. Why is it no one takes issue with the president using his private jet to travel anywhere and everywhere? oh right, because it makes fucking sense. Well, it also makes sense when you're Taylor fucking Swift. Jesus Christ has the woman not been through enough with the entire world hating her fucking guts and making her want to kill herself when Kanye and Kim set her up and ruined her career and life for like 2 years. Can she literally do anything without getting hate for it? and really, wtf is damaging her plane going to do to help the environment? wtf does she even have to do with big oil companies in the first place? oh there's an issue in the world? lets involve Taylor Swift she's the most famous person on the planet, that will get us lots of attention. Attention is great and all, but it's not going to bring about any actual change for your cause. you know what would? getting Taylor Swift on your side. That actually makes logical fucking sense, because if you look at her track record of taking up a cause she wins. every. single. time. But sure, defile a plane she owns that will change everything, especially while she flies around in the other one she owns. Can people just leave her alone? for like 5 minutes?

      What I find interesting is that when Just Stop Oil protestors target things that make the most sense they generate less conversations about climate justice. I find it pretty compelling for their side that whenever they spray something like Stonehenge, all the sudden everyone is starting convos about being more environmentally friendly! We luv to see it
