I’m using the first insert, yet it still seems to always brake off. This is the second light I’ve purchased for $35 😢

Any tips?

  1. I have one of those lights and my strap never broke, but if it did my solution would be to buy a different kind of light. Many lights use a hard plastic clamp instead of a rubber strap.

Is that a niterider? They actually have a good warranty on the strap. They’ll send free replacement if you reach out. Excellent support

We sell those lights, and the straps are pretty reliable. I do warranty work, and I can not recall the last strap breaking problem. They are under warranty for 1 year.

  4. With those kind of straps I try to just remove the light when charging. I find the strap wears down faster if I constantly have to remove, reattach it.

Handlebars can be as thick as 31.8 mm at the stem clamp. The rest of most bars are smaller.
Exceptions include high-end aero carbon drop bars.

I have this same light and the same thing happened (I was moving it frequently between bikes). I prefer something like the Bontrager Ion Pro that doesn’t have this problem and the light can be removed without removing the clamp.
