HI,@EdBrinton,the red box in the map is Chatham Waters,1,2 and 3 are the areas,I rode around.

‘Chatham Waters is located on the mouth of the Medway Waterfront Peninsula in Kent and includes the regeneration of 26-acres of the former docks.

The development includes up to 950 new homes, alongside later living, commercial, retail and leisure uses, with buildings ranging from 6 to 17 storeys across four planned phases.

The site will also benefit from the creation of a new waterfront boulevard, including bars, restaurants and specialist shops, promoting al-fresco dining and socialising.’

The development isn’t finished yet,the link above shows a photo of how one part could look.

Medway Queen, was one of the rescue boats at Dunkirk.

‘Medway Queen is open to the public at Gillingham Pier on most Saturdays from February 17th 2024.’

‘Medway Queen was ordered in 1923 and entered service on the Strood-Chatham-Southend-Herne Bay route the following year.
Requisitioned for the Royal Navy in 1939 and converted for mine-sweeping.
In ‘Operation Dynamo’ in May-June 1940. Medway Queen and her crew made seven return trips across the channel to bring the men home.
In 1946/7 she was refitted and returned to civilian use.’

‘After many years of frustration and hard work the society secured the backing of the Heritage Lottery Fund and, later, the European Regional Development Fund to rebuild the ships hull and establish a base and workshop at Gillingham Pier’
