what did you think of that hotel from the beginning of the episode…. have you ever been to a unstaffed hotel?
There was another tower. The tower of Pizza. It fell right on top of a guy delivering bread. And so the pizza was invented. True story.
Creepy
Dunno what my crusiing speed on the flasts is , but as my average speed for journeys, taking it easy, is consistently 10.5 mph, I assume it will be about that.
Suprised that your crusing speed on the flats is only 10.25 mph though, as weight not supposeed to matter on the flats, your trike being more aerodynamic, would have thought would be faster.
Australia hotels like that saves on staff reception
Remember the rain jacket hi viz one i give you it would be perfect for there i know Vietnam it was to hot
GoPro battery suck since hero 3 lol dji better and you can get winter battery
I've been to some airbnb with remote access but that hotel seemed useful too. It's a shame you couldn't spend that extra day waiting for the ferry in Pisa.
Great Vid Matt, Even with the flat tire, rain and the serpents that may not want you to be making videos, What a great day traveling through the streets of old Tuscany. The history there! Amazing vid, JaYoe!
Staying in a place with no onsite people and total automation freaks me out. Pisa is a great place to people watch and spent hours watching the people and the clouds in the sky…a memory thats lasted more than 50 years..Florence, Rome and Sicily also hold good memories..my family of 5 camped in our VW Bus back in the 60s.
Shingles update- Doctor said the blisters are looking good but I'm now experiencing postherpetic neuralgia (nerve pain) that can possibly stay with me for months… If my nerves were severely damaged the nerve pain could be for life. Please get your loved ones and yourself vaccinated. You don't want to go through this hell.
Sometimes fates let's us catch a ferry on time, but other times it allows us to try a local chickpea sandwich! Hope it tastes good
The Leaning Tower of Pisa was awesome! Despite the rain and flat, you made good time to the ferry terminal. I'm looking forward to your island adventures.
Keep on Triking!
I use the Tyre Glide so I don’t have to take the wheel off to fix a flat. It is better than tire irons.
You got your flat tire in Tirrenia? Lol, I spent a summer there in high school. 16 years ago! There’s a large US military base just a few miles away. Or at least there was.
It was an amazing time as a kid, we got to travel all over Italy.
Too bad it's raining. If the weather was right, maybe the tower will look prettier.
GREAT VIDEO Matt!!! Thanks for braving the weather to bring us along the leaning tower and Tuscany. YOU ARE THE MAN!
Good to see for the Most part that my windbreaker held up in the rain, bummer that you got a flat and missed the fairy though. Also did you ever use the hood on the jacket that is in the coller?
I really enjoy your videos. Been following you for a long time. Quick question actually two I might’ve missed the video but what did you do with your scorpion trike? I ride a vortex and really like it, Who was weird to me by a friend who passed away. I’ve had it for 10 years now, and really need to change to something more touring like. I would like to trade mine in for some type of down payment toward a new trike. Do you have any suggestions on a store where I can go? Thanks again for the videos and I keep on watching. By the way, my YouTube channel is YHamradio and OTP by Mark Goodrum.
Another nice one. Indeed cannot always be sunshine and roses! Hope the weather is better on the islands!
Excellent video!
I would'nt book a hotel like that Matt, but thank's for showing it to us😊. I hope the weather get's better for you, safe ride.
Excellent video Sir and I’ve only recently come across these again.
Subscribing now.
I’m considering my first trike but have a question.
I notice you use simply flat pedals.
In researching trikes, leg suck has been a huge warning but evidently it isn’t a major concern for you.
Are your shoes attached to the pedals in any way or what are your thoughts?
Again my compliments on your videos and I’m now going back to watch some previous ones.
Nice storries again!
I am riding a ICE Sprint X and have the same problem with my side bag. I always carry a plastic bag that i put over my side bag from below so that the opening is on top. It sucks but the stuff stays dry inside.
