bruh you dun look 35!
To make any non suspension road-gravel bike a more comfortable and awesome one; install a redshift suspension seat post as they also make a bicycle stem with suspension capabilities and voila, a gravel and or road bike rider will have a more comfortable ride.
This derailleur 'unofficially' will take up to 42t cassette.
Tyres, tyres, tyres!!! Why no mention about your tyres Si? I saw what you have but how did they do and why did you choose them? Love my Riddlers!
A Moots for off-pavement use with no YBB? Why?
If I could justify buying a bike like this, I would be.
you sound very intelligent.
Oh come now Simon. It’s only aluminum and vanadium. So sweet I just bought one. Thanks for the excellent review Matey.
One of these days I want to see a GCN presenters bike show special. Have all of you bring out your collections and let us have a look. Plllleeaaaasseeeee
I was at the moots factory in steamboat springs today and saw this exact routt 45 today. Truly a work of art. I was amazed that he did this kind of ride on a di2 equipped bike.
Electronic shifting on an 'adventure' bike?
Wow, this guy does a super review of a bike. Nice.
Why not put rack bosses on this gravel bike? It seems like it would make a great light touring bike.
Another amazing ride from Moots – so much skilled labor and top notch materials put into these frames – they are a thing of beauty !
Just buy a decent 29r for a thousand pounds less 😉
Sweet bike, but those prices are absurd.
So you have had time with the mootsand 3T exploro…..Im looking into moots route 45 ybb or exploro…which would you take? I havent ridden the 3T but have ridden the moots.
Would be nice to know the weight of that bike…
Internal 23mm is not that wide and actually pretty normal by today’s standards. I’m actually looking to upgrade to the new ENVE27 i27mm gravel rims
Perfect bike for very nice gravel road.
It’s ROWT not ROUTE
First theres what's called a bicycle, then a racing bike with thin wheels, then a bmx, a mountain bike that later divided into three categories. A hard tail, cross country, downhiller, fat tire, now theres gravel bike. Real men can easily spot why these once kids toys have evolved into so many categories, by L's
I want it!!
36 points of engagement…I did not know you're funny. 😂
Nice bike sir😊how much?
I wonder if I live long enough to see these titanium bikes thrown by the trash cans like so many steel frame gems of the 90s these days. Electrification makes the classic bicycle fueled by human sweats and bananas seem outdated.
Moots Baxter would be even better for this trip 😀
I'll trade my litespeed road bike for this .I need a good all around bicycle that can do gravel, mud ,dirt etc.
You said you could increase the range of road groupset by putting a MTB derailleur on, I think a GRX rear mech would work with road shifters but unfortunately road shifters don't work with MTB derailleurs… I ran into this problem myself and I ended up buying 2 rear mechs and put a sram eagle cage on sram road rear mech and it works.
I'm sticking to Carbon, thanks.
what size is that frame ?
HI, I mistakenly built a wheel with a 700C rim and a MTB hub for a Fuji Finest Racer I converted to a Gravel Bike. This was going to be a back up wheel for steep mountain rides. The axel will not fit into the Fuji but will fit nicely into my Iron Horse Mountain Bike. However, the Cantilever brakes pads will not reach the 700C rim. What can I do to fit this wheel into my converted Fuji Finest Racer? Should I cut the axel shorter or something else? I was unable to pry open the Reynolds 531 frame to ram the axel in. Thanks for any help.
Riding a ORBEA M30 atm but damn… I always dreamed of a titanium bike and i guess… I will get a moots soon. Such a beauty!
A titanium bike is just a dream to have. I don't care that steel is stiffer, carbon fiber is lighter and aluminum cheaper.
It just like so damn sexy
