Looking to get my first bike, is this a good deal/bike?
Seller said it’s a 2023 stump jumper comp alloy with an after market fox suspension. He’s willing to come down to 1500. Is this a good deal/bike? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you
For $1500 it’s an alright deal. At least given the used bike market where I live, it’s not an amazing deal but you’re not really getting ripped off either assuming all parts are in working order and no suspension service is needed.

Assuming USD this model is currently on sale at a lot of places for not much more. The fork sounds like an upgrade. 1500 isn’t a terrible deal but I’d probably go new if it were me.

How tall are you? It’s not a terrible price, but I wouldn’t consider an s5 unless you’re over 6′.

depends how worn. looks like already has gone through one set of tires, not a big deal. is an aluminum stumpy. if in great shape i’d say is a good deal. *especially* is is something you really want… but ad price is rarely the sale price. go in, be polite and talkative. have cash and offer $1300. expect to settle in $1400-$1500 and then it’s a really good deal.
i just bought a lightly used stumpy evo s5 carbon. it was exactly what i wanted. he was asking $2500. has a few upgrades. I paid $2150. some might say that’s just ok but it’s the exact bike and size i wanted and i got to ride it to make sure it was for me.

Sizing is off , I wouldn’t touch an S5 unless I was 6”1 or taller. With that said , if it’s the right size. Grab it and ride
