  1. I live in rural Scotland and see tourists damaging their tyres all the time on single track roads. They almost all do what you did and drive onto the verge of the road. A golden rule for driving on single track roads is stay on the tarmac, don't drive near the edge of the road. Driving on the verges is a guaranteed way to shred your tyre.

  2. Driving on rural lanes in the dark is what I do all the time as a delivery driver. At least you weren't on your own without a mobile signal and 5 miles from the nearest farm in driving rain and gale force winds.

  3. To answer the question, yes, the majority of viewers, would enjoy delusional happiness with Elish, cooking breakfast with Amelia Dimoldenberg, of a morning! Some, of the shy persuasion, may be prang too.
Professionally: A great video & experience, although, it must have been bitter sweet, being outside of the old smoke, among greenery in the quiet countryside. Did you get a culture shock, once back at London Bridge station?
I propose a follow-up episode, for a whole 7 days, is a better concept. It would really give the audience & the Electroheads team, more insight. I bet your partner, would love to understand what living in the FLO would be like too.
For either off-grid living or an extended environmentally-friendly lifestyle, the more experience & tasks completed, the better!

Well done & 😃 congrats on a job well done

  4. I've always been a big fan of camping .. and I wanna buy a camper van that's worth £70000 and i wanng give it to you as your birth day present time in 2 years. Eilis My E-GoDess you will defo be amazed by the design of this camper van .. well its actually a motor home that can transform into a 2 floors of ampartment, simply put it is a mobile home that can sleep 6 people and has a loung area, 1 big master room that has a shower room with toilet so basically it is euipped with kitchen, washing machine, fridge, 2 shoer rooms with toilet, and TV etc. I am serious My Love. I am a die hard fan of you, My E-GoDdess and now I am saving up every penny to buy it. So in the future whenever and wherever you camp, you won't have any issue with toilet. Great Video My Love .. Take Care . XXX

  5. I'm a big fan of EV's and own a R&M ebike which I love. I also have a 6m Fiat Ducato camper in which I spend 6 months of the year touring Europe and the UK. Electric campers are coming but we're not there yet. These things with a tent on top are a joke. Not at all practical. You'd be better off with a decent tent and seperate vehicle for a third of the price or less. No good for wild camping either, if you get any hassle you are dangerously exposed and have to climb down before you can drive away. It's a case of style over substance. Not practical in winter either. Love the channel but the ID Buzz is just an expensive bit of bling.

  6. VW is almost insolvent and they are laying off upwards of 300,000 workers.
Teh result of a combination of Green policies, high energy costs, taxes and lower priced Chinese electric vehicles.
    Bye, bye VW.
Good luck getting spares in 3-5 years.

  7. Whatever positive environmental impact EVs have is pretty much negated if you're gonna eat all that meat and all those eggs. You guys realize how much of a problem animal agriculture is, right? Ditch meat and dairy and your carbon footprint decreases by ~70%, your water needs by ~50%, and you need ~75% less farmland to produce your food. That's enough that you could drive around the shittiest old diesel and still be ahead as far as environmental impact. I love you guys for promoting EVs and bringing the positive vibes but I'm real sad to see the hypocrisy when it comes to food.

  8. I've spent most of my life camping off the back of a motorbike. Doing so from a bike teaches you all sorts of things about what the real essentials of life are; Something to hold water, something to cook with, salt and pepper. All the rest you can get locally. Salt and pepper can go in film cassette pots (if you can find them) or even old spice jars, so long as they're plastic.

  9. As a rural dweller myself, I would recommend driving in the centre of a single track road, well away from the broken edge because if you meet another vehicle there is insufficient room to pass without some negotiation anyway.
Great vehicle and that pod added enormously to its versatility. I always pay to camp, not only for the safety aspect but also for the comfort of toilet and wash facilities.

  10. I had one of my best days when I flatted in Aberdeenshire on a frosty and sunny morning. Felt the air going out of the tyre immediately, rolled down a few hundred yards to get off the road, landed in front of a country pub that just opened. Called someone to change the wheel for me, while having an early lunch in the pub with a cozy peat fire going on. Got on my way an hour later and had a lovely day. 🙂
