A trick I learned watching my dad fix tractor tyres when was a kid is to use a bucket of water, and submerge the tube by segment while inflated and squeeze so you can find the hole(s) before repairing and then mark em with a bit chalk.
😂😂 the worst is ELECTRIC CARGO BICYCLE these one’s where you can drive with your kids in the front… lord 😢 we paid allot of money and also wait time for the Technician, this bicycle is heavy as 🤬
Former bike mechanics since I was a young teenager here. You can buy the intertube pretty cheap. Use baby powder poured into the tire and on the intertube with it partly inflated as a dry lubercant to line it up. Use 2 flat head screw drivers running around the edge like you would a paint bucket to get it off ans then put it back on. There are special tools to put the tire on but 2 flat heads can work in a pinch. Hope this helps!
Buy the lil sticker patches.. no glue etc. Easy peasy. Also just overfill and listen/feel for the air leak. I use my cheek to feel for the air. Works like a charm. And no soapy mess.
Der Trick ist wirklich sehr lange auf den Flicken zu drücken und zu reiben, bis sich die Sollbruchstelle in der Mitte etwas öffnet und sich die Folie von alleine löst
Before applying the patch you have to wait at least 5 minutes for the cold vulcanizing fluid – it's not glue – to finish the chemical reaction or the patch won't fuse with the tube.
Sand a larger area, more of the glue, leave it for 5 or so minutes to react with the rubber tube, remove the plastic backing from the patch, press the side of the patch that was previously covered in plastic down over the area to be patched, apply lots of pressure (you can get a patch roller which makes this part of the job much easier). Inflate but best not to use full pressure for about 24 hours.
as a girl living in the Netherlands I usually take my bike out in front of my house where all my neighbors pass by and put it in repair mood, take all the tools I have (never the ones I need cause I don't have them) and always absolutely always I've got a group of dads involved fixing my bike 😂 I swear they love it, I live in a kinda of small community, everyone knows everyone and people help each other, I as well do little favors for my neighbors, like watering their plants when they travel, feeding their pets or taking an elderly neighbor's dog out
If it takes you an hour to fix your bike and you can make more per hour than the repair shop charges then you're not at the level of German efficiency yet
Germany is quite frustrating at times because you have to DIY so much here that you can easily pay to get done in other countries. People here seem to have a lot of time on their hands for all this stuff lol.

20-30€
I would have glued the glove to the innertube by accident. You are better than me😊
You should get tyre slime, basically stops punctures completely.

Shoot id meet it in the middle. But a brand new tube and install that.
Sand and patch while tire is empty
Just buy a new one 😂

More glue, put some pressure on it (something heavy) and wait
Put the glue. Give it a second. Put the patch on and use something flat and something heavy to hold it in place for 20-30 min. (depends on glue).
😂😂😂😂😂
I suggest more glue and a heat gun for a few seconds to melt the patch in a bit… I don’t know what I’m doing either though lol
Ein neuer Schlauch von Continental kostet 5€.
Just her a new inner tube and replace that.
Also schwalbe tires almost never get flats
Just buy a new tube.
I don’t bother anymore. Here’s 30€ and one day without a bike
I stopped fixing tires, I just buy new inner tubes. It's easier.
In my country is even cheaper ($1.5), and then I had to pay almost $75 to get my flat tire fixed ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Use the one that don't need the vulcanization glue. They just stick. Like the parktooll ones.

I think you can go to Decathlon and there they will fix it cheaply

Don’t fix it. Buy a new tyre tube online. The puncture proof ones. It’s like €80. Best investment you’ll ever make
Vorsicht wenn man den Mantel mit dem Schraubenzieher herunter hebelt, der Schraubenzieher ist scharf und plötzlich hat man ein neues Loch.

Take the plastic of my dear
Me as a college student in a big college campus, shout out tamu.
The real solution is to use Kevlar tires so you never get the puncture to begin with.
Just get a new tube lol
You did well with the tyre tube repair except that you need to remove the cellophane backing from the vulcanised repair patch.
You’re wonderful, a welcome antidote to the male dream (in my country) of the passive and compliant woman from Asia. 🇻🇳🇩🇪
I hope this isn't a conceivable announcement😂🎉
