I assume there is a reason this never caught on. I presume the torque from pushing the pedals can break the spokes. Otherwise we would see this on every weight weenie bike.

Dunno, but don’t show the kids in r/fixedgearbicycles because you know they’ll be killing themselves trying to skid with these in traffic.
If you do track one down, please relace with brass nipples get those brass crank caps, and brass washers on the chainring bolts.
