  1. My current road bike is a used 2006 Cervelo Soloist. It’s been good but it’s 18 years old and its size 58 which is a little small for me and among other reasons I want to N+1 another road bike. Needs to be fast and response and have more tire clearance than my bike which is 25mm max right now.

this bike in the link is 60cm which is perfect size and is allegedly in great condition, recently serviced, and comes iwth bike computer, bag, bottle cages, etc.

seriously considering this purchase but I also know black friday is coming up and its the season when bike shops have major sales on bikes so i could try and hold out for something new at like 50% off instead? problem is there are already a bunch of good sales, but literally nothing in my size. the fact that it’s tough to find a decent road bike in my size without breaking the bank (which I already did with my gravel bike a couple months ago) has me a little trigger happy on anything that fits me and seems like it might work out.

  2. That is highway robbery. Even in a HCOL area it should be well under half that. Realistically we see 10 speed carbon bikes of this era in the 450-600 range often. Might go a little higher for a bike that has been serviced and had replaced parts. There is nothing particularity special about this one. Stock wheels, a couple accessories, riser stem that probably should be swapped out.
