    Just received new wheelset with separated axle nuts

    I ordered a new mag wheelset online and just received them. Both axle nuts are separated on the non-drive side. Is this normal?

    I’m not sure whether it’s normal or not. Drive side, both are set right. Non-drive side the rings/flange thingy are both removed. Is this an issue? Can I press them together using a bearing press without compromising the nuts?

    Thanks for the help! This is a last-minute late at night thing. Just unboxed and can’t make it to the LBS just yet.

      Weirdly enough, I started seeing this a whole lot this year. I knocked the floating washer on, then with a little punch bent the flanges on the nut inward so the washer stays.
