I have a similar yet different brooks on my state klunker and honestly hate it. The turbo looks a lot more comfy. Your butt will thank you I’m sure

Let your own butt choose. The C17 is terrible for mine, Turbo is acceptable but not great.

Depends on if you prefer a firmer saddle or not. I’ve just put a C15 on a new bike and I’m on the fence with it, it *is* comfy, but it’s also quite flexy in places and idk if I prefer that over a more rigid feeling saddle. They do appear to retain their value so if you tried the Brooks and disliked it you wouldn’t take too much of a financial hit reselling it.

I’ve heard that Cambrium saddles can be hard on your pants.
I don’t want to wear out my jeans so I chose different saddle.

Same decision for me. Decided to go all turbo.

What kind of bike you have? Does it need to match the style of the bike?

Turbos look cool but for me, they are immediately uncomfortable. I don’t have much experience with c17s but I do like b17s and firmer, flatter saddles in general. Your butt should be able to make the call.

The c17 is vulcanized rubber, and the selle royal is leather (I think).
I’d personally go for the c17, because I do a tonn of bike touring in bad weather. The rubber makes it last way longer than other padded saddles I’ve had in the past. It really just comes down to longevity for me.
I haven’t tried the selle royal turbo, but I can assume it’d be the most comfortable for every day use.

Is the Turbo the same saddle Velo Orange has on sale for $15 right now? They look very similar.
