It took the cyclist almost 17 hours to complete the challenge on the e-bike in Kiev.

Sailing through the picturesque fields of Ukraine’s Rivne region, this DelFast electric bike looks like it could go on and on.
And indeed it can. Made in Ukraine, one of these electric bikes has set a world record for riding on a single charge of battery at a distance of 367 kilometres.
It took the cyclist almost 17 hours and hundreds of circles of a track to complete the challenge.
And years of hard work and experience went in to achieve the end result.
The idea of e-bike production came after the delivery service DelFast was launched 3 years ago.
E-bikes were chosen for this service to make it inexpensive and ecological. They worked so well they decided to adapt them to make them go further.
“We made attempts to modernise, actually we’ve been upgrading other companies’ bikes to match our needs,” explains Director of DelFast delivery service, Serhiy Denisenko.
“We were tired of that and asked ‘Why not to create our own bike?’. We found a partner in Ukraine who helps us to produce bicycle frames as we upgraded the design. We’ve found a partner who supplies us with high quality batteries. By combining all these elements we’ve got our top electric bike.”
The team managed to increase the range of the bikes up to 380 kilometres by creating a special improved frame and equipping the bikes with powerful US made batteries.
The e-bike also has a smart security system with GPS tracking, remote start, immobiliser and pedal assist.
“We created something powerful. We created something which is like a real thing, real motorcycle with large range, with 230 miles range on a single charge. So now people can travel between cities. Now they can have a big range and now they can just not think about the availability of sockets,” says CEO and founder of DelFast Daniel Tonkopiy.
After completing 1319 cycles and 367 kilometres to set the record, cyclist Vitaliy Arkhipkin says:
“This is a cool device. It doesn’t replace the bicycle, it belongs to another category. This is the transport of the future.”
There are three models of DelFast e-bike available on Kickstarter, varying in range, speed and price.
The cheapest model costs $2449 US Dollars and the most expensive is $3829 US Dollars.

    1. yeah,real motorcycle,real thing,riding 10kmh 230 miles range 😀 If i drive my bike so slow,i can go from normal 30 km range to 150km 😀

    2. These are just expensive under powered motorcycles that'll become useless when the battery reaches the end of its life, say 2 to 5 years, just get a real combustion engine motorcycle, it's faster and more capable. Electric bikes should be simple and minimalist so you don't need special tools and a mechanic to work on your bike
