Try completely filling both front panniers with sweets, chocolate, soda's, etc, and you can't go wrong!
Good to know that Chinese Snickers are available for my next ride!
So many Punctures! Are you using the favoured Marathon Plus tyres?
Even using these preferred tyres will eventually start picking up punctures as the tyres get worn.
I've been fortunate to have been able to purchase another new set of the now discontinued Marathon Dureme tyres. Extremely durable. Tyres less than half worn on a previous London – KL ride with zero punctures.
Would advise that you purchase the little Presta to Schrader valve adaptors. They cost nothing and weigh nothing. Can be permanently left screwed onto your Presta valves to reduce the risk of loss/misplacement. If you lose or your Presta valve pump fails of course always easier to find someone somewhere with a Schrader valve pump.
