Hello,
I have an old bike with narrow OLD (original hub is 122mm). This Shimano SG-C3001-7C is 127mm.
I don’t need the brake (i have a rimbrake in the back), can i reduce the O.L.D enough by removing the brake arm?
My offset will be slightly off, but it should be fine for alignment.
OG hub is SRAM Spectro P5 Cargo for an old Nihola cargobike

  1. The Nihola is steel right? Just bend the stays outward. Way easier than changing the O.L.D. of the Nexus.

  2. Just cold set the frame. Do it the Sheldon way with a 2×4 and a string. Make dropout alignment tools out of an M10 axle from a dead wheel and some nuts.
