Hey everyone! I’m new to bike accessories, and I’ve come across a used front carrier block (dimensions 32cm X 21 cm) that comes with a bag for 25€. The bag is torn and needs some stitching, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the price or if the carrier block size will be too limiting for larger bags.

I’m also unsure about the bag model—it doesn't have any branding or labels I recognize. If anyone could help identify it, that’d be awesome!

For those with experience, is a 32cm x 21cm carrier block practical for carrying larger bags or heavier loads? And does the price seem fair considering the included carrier block? Also, any advice on repairing a torn bag—do you think it’s a manageable DIY project, or should I consider professional help?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: sorry I meant front luggage frame, not carrier block

  1. I’d say the luggage frame alone is worth 25€. It looks to be in great shape, I don’t see any chips or cracks in the photo.

I believe that is the Medium frame (I could be wrong, I’m an electric owner and our frames are different) but it will fit any bag that is built to fit the M size frame.

The bag is Brompton branded: [https://postimg.cc/yWBz5NfB](https://postimg.cc/yWBz5NfB) It requires a large repair job but it’s fixable.

That’s the roll top bag – it shares a frame with the shoulder bag – Brompton measure it in at 35×22 cm

It’s worth it if you want a frame as frames aren’t available individually any more

Just the shoulder bag or roll top bag from Brompton are designed for tat frame – though sometimes you can find 3rd party bags

… or bungee something else on

… or build your own bag / box around the frame
