  1. Are both bikes the correct size for you? Assuming yes, $600 is half the original price of the A1 new, so I’d go for that. it’s going to be a great bike and I just rode its steel cousin, the S3 – fantastic ride. I started on mountain bikes but instantly got hooked on drop bars, they didn’t take long for me to figure out so I’d say go for it.

  2. Jamis, but both bikes are different, drop vs flat is a big difference and most riders or cycling channels don’t really understand what “hybrid” is.

    Like is a comfortable bike for multi use case, but that’s what gravel is for, I personally love Jamis, and love a drop bar, however, most important thing is a correctly sized frame, a good deal on a wrong frame is a horrible deal at the end.

    But I’d go for Jamis as “hybrid” is a marketing gimmick on bikes that are neither one or the other and probably do both badly.
