  1. Amazing journey and movie! I just turned 50 and bought the same bike. Preparing it now for my own adventures! Never too old to learn something new.

  2. Have u tried lowering pressure a few pounds at the time untill u find whats best on gravel, a larger road stamp can make a big difference but u neec to get a small electric pump or wait for the next gaz pump up station. Im riding an xr 190 honda!

  3. Very well done, both this, and your newer movie to Spain. You deserve way more views. It was also really interesting to see how a novice dirt rider would deal with the TET. Would you consider sharing your route? I'm planning a trip on the Italian TET and I would love to know where that spot at 26:00 is, for example.

  4. Saw this now after "Escaping the Cold". Great Movie and will be rewatched.
BTW: which jack do you have there for the Swing arm? I got a center stand myself but for a light bike like yours this thing is worth Gold on the Trail.

  5. I don't have time to watch the video right now (will do later or the next days) but already left a "Thumbs Up" for the algo 🙂
Always great when people put so much effort in a video (just watched 2 min so far :D)

  6. I’ve just watched this from start to finish and I have to say, it’s a work of art, brilliant film of an awesome adventure, well done.👍

  7. What an absolutely amazing production of your experience!
All of the emotions you had along the way! gives me goose bumps just watching!
you must feel so exhilarated and refreshed and awoken from this!
As a offroad rider from childhood in motocross and enduro, but in my adult life a mostly road rider…. im looking to delve into the adventure life and currently looking at the tenere700 world raids to accompany me on a TET journey just like you have done! I am so impressed with your 300 rally and what a steed it has been serving you!
Thankyou for documenting your experience! ive enjoyed watching with my hot cup of tea from 2am in the morning!
    amazing!

  8. Hi Matey, just watched your London to Spain and wow I’m well impressed what an amazing journey and what courage you have doing that journey alone and that inspires me loads, could you tell me what model garmin nav you used and do you recommend it ,
    Mark.

  9. Could it be that your boots are too small for you? For example my gaerne fastback enduro boots are pretty comfortable in all conditions, except maybe temperatures below 5°C but I haven't tested it.

  10. Awesome job, noticed you had brake fade after heavy front brake use, I had the complete opposite on huge extended hills on Phuket, Thailand, was on a brand new Benelli 250 (didn't even have plates on it) bike started struggling near the bottom, front wheel completely locked on middle of the road almost breaking away with traffic behind, had to drag the bike backwards off the road, happened about 3 times in all, very scary, cooled front calliper with bottled wated from 7/11 to reduce wait time after realising what was up, a friend told me to upgrade the brake fluid to race quality DOT4 which maintains its properties much under pressure, don't quote me but thought it may be of value on here

  11. Proper inspiration you are…. Bravo. Just came across your channel just this morning. Was having coffee and clearing my head before I head to do my final road test 😊
    Exactly what I needed 💪🏽🫡

  12. Hi, listened to you on the Tampod cast and so had a look for you on here, really enjoyed your video. I like you felt a little out of my depth off road at first. But after a few years of mistakes and offs..now I’ll take on anything. Keep it up. Looking forward to watching your other films. Andrew

  13. Being Lonely is a Massive negative when travelling alone as i found out when i visited Thailand in 2007 on trip i decided on 3 days prior whilst sitting in an English Pub Beer Garden on my Lunch Break.
I had chosen a time when the bulk of tourists there were from China and i was lonely but after 4 days discovered an Irish Pub whos main occupants were American Engineers and to be able to share a chat in our common language REALLY lifted my spirit.
up until then my Mum had never had so many phone calls from me 🙂.
    Loving your work Mr

  14. Just watched another vid of yours yesterday, this one hasn’t failed to impress either. Great that you share both good and bad. Ronald hit the nail on the head though. We do just need to get out and do it, even attempting something either on or off road can be an adventure. 🍻👍🏻👊🏻

  15. Superb video, 58 this year and just getting started with it all – skill is one thing but the drive to get 'those moments' is something else.

    Brilliant.

  16. Amazing video mate, I’ve watched a few adventure bikers over the last few days. I’ve got my street triple up for sale to buy a CRF 300 rally 🙂 Hoping to go to France to visit the war graves with my dad next year
