Biking around the beautiful German countryside and villages!! We wanted to utilize the beautiful sunshine after many weeks of grey and rain. 😍 In this video, we e-bike through the surrounding towns and villages, doing as much as we can during this lockdown period. Hope you guys enjoy!

What's your opinion on the German countryside in summer? Also, let us know if you like videos like these! 🙂
Vermisse Deutschland so sehr!! Nettes Video!
You guys should come visit Kassel! Ive moved from the UK to Germany. So i relate to much of Deanas struggles😂
I enjoy your vids. This was a nice change of pace from "eating whatever". Please do more. Thanks.
The last time I was in Germany I spent most of my summer in Düsseldorf. This makes me want to take a vacation to the german countryside so I can eat good food and have some excellent Beer. Can't wait for travel to be open worldwide!!
Lovely video! Duderstadt Rathaus reminds me of the Göttingen Rathaus. Beautiful! I studied in Göttingen during the summer of 1991, thirty years ago. I look forward to going back and taking my husband and kids to see this beautiful area. We were going to travel throughout Germany this summer… but travel plans had to be postponed. Please make more videos like this one showing the countryside and also images of Duderstadt and nearby towns and villages.
As a dutch woman it's so funny to hear that we are known as the 'camping people' in Germany.
Germans are known as 'hole diggers' in the Netherlands when you come to our beaches in the summertime 😂
Hey, guys. That was a super video. I love the German villages you went through. Phil, Christie Vincit is "Christ is victorius!"
Vielen Dank!
I’m originally from Northeim, and I keep telling people my home area is just a bunch of (usually brown) fields. You made Niedersachsen look nice.
This makes me really miss Germany 🙁
The little church 3:10 is not that old. It dates back only to the late 19th century. Its architecture is neo-romanesque, not medieval.
Perhaps consider bike riding along the river Weser from Münden to Hameln during springtime or summer (canoeing would also be an option). There are castles, 1000 year old churches (Corvey, 8th century AD!), medieval towns, palaces, even a traditional china factory and beautiful landscape.
8:08 Quick translation for people who don't speak German: "Raps" is rapeseed in English, also known as canola in North America.
Wow! Germans seem to be very good at keeping the landscaping neat and trimmed. I enjoyed the animals; especially the cat because it looked like mine.
That was fun 😊 Thank you!!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful adventure.
Love the 80s music 2:32 😀😂
You are such sweethearts!
E-Bikes sind was für Anfänger, Profis fahren ohne Unterstützung!
The Eichsfeld is having it all.. Best place to live! Maybe we should make a tour together with my indonesian wife.
Really well done. Like it very much. Looks a bit like here in the North arround Hamburg. But NO Hills here…
So Schö, wie in de Pfalz…. Ich könnte gerade ne Spaghetti Eis essen
❤ the countryside. Germany is beautiful. I would definitely choose the countryside over the city.
To be in County side is the best Germany is lucky of nature 😊
Hello. I am from Syria. My situation is difficult. I need financial help. My circumstances are very difficult. May Allah reward you with good
Sehr gut say me hi pls 😁
Cat! <3 <3 <3
… and here I am sitting in Charleston, SC thinking that I miss home more and more through your videos. South Carolina is terrible for cycling.
Sorry, aber E-Bikes gehen gar nicht. Es sei denn, Ihr wäret alt oder körperlich eingeschränkt. E-Bikes sind leider noch umweltschädlich.
Goal one day is to bicycle trip all of Germany. Got to do some rides a few years back and was such a beautiful ride and met so many nice people on the trail. One family who had apple orchard gave us tour and then let us fill our bags with fresh of the tree apples. Great way to explore and meet the locals.
Your saddles are way too low. It will hurt your knees over time and you waste a lot of power that do not reach the pedals.
Thanks so much for the tour of the countryside. I am like Deana, I like to see the different styles of architecture and what is typical there. It is something to think about seeing buildings and businesses hundreds of years old. The U.S. is such a young country, it adds a different feeling to think people lived there 1,000 years ago and even more. I experienced the same thing when we were in Japan. (Suggestion: when editing, allow an extra second or two for a cut. One hardly has time to orient to the shot and you are cutting to another. I'd rather the video be another couple of minutes so I can enjoy the individual views more.)
Wieviel kostet es eigentlich, wenn man beim Filmen auf dem Fahrrad erwischt wird? 🤓
Omg the cat belongs to my cousin 😲🐈
I am loving germany.🥺
Make a video on Germany's National Holidays and holidays of area specific.
Beautiful video
Hi im from Flensburg i really get oppertunity to go to the west coast its like a paradise there😘😘
Looks strikingly like central Ohio. It’s no wonder so many Germans settled in this region in Ohio. Beautiful.
@Deana and Phil Phil says, "Nice ride, my butt hurts." I worked at a bike shop in a tourist area. Every summer tourists would stop in to get their bikes worked on, compare us to their shop at home, or ask about scenic rides in the area. One day two guys in their 60s stopped in on their afternoon ride. They were asking about different rides other than the ones that had already done. One guys says to me "every time I go riding with him I end up with a sore butt!" My response was "hey, we don't want to hear about your sex life." The guy turned 50 shades of red and his friend was dying laughing.
I'm on my 3rd e-bike, upgrading each time. I love my Bosch powered e-bike, it goes up to 45kph/28mph. I use it mostly for shopping and transportation, lots of fun.
When do we get to see Phil in short swim trunks and no shirt? LOL
I live near Göttingen and used to live in the eastern part of the Eichsfeld, so I know this area very well. Nice to see it in this video 🙂
That is the cool thing about the country side. There are interesting buildings in the smallest villages.
I have lived in small towns and a big city and at my age I want to be in the countryside for the peace and quiet
This is awesome countryside
Some where in between
