Embark on a gorgeous bike trip up Colle d’Oggia in Liguria, Italy! If you’re planning a cycling holiday near San Remo, this route is a must-see. We start in the charming village of Bellissimi at dawn, avoiding the summer heat while taking in views of Mediterranean landscapes and rugged mountain ridges.

This ride takes you from the olive groves of Dolcedo, past ancient mills, and up through the beautiful Val Prino. As we climb toward Passo Coppetti, expect panoramic views that stretch from Piemonte’s peaks to the Mediterranean coastline. Watch out for wild boars, grazing Piemontese cows, and a few friendly cyclists along the way. At 1150 meters, it’s just you, the mountain air, and the endless Italian countryside.

In the next episode, we’ll journey further from Colle d’Oggia, diving into the wild scenery of Molini di Triora. For an easier ride, check out my video on the flat coastal cycle path along San Remo’s old railway line!
