** By popular demand, we’ve compiled Days 1, 2 and 3 of Time Team’s recent Wytch Farm dig into one newly updated feature-length video for your viewing pleasure. **
Join us for a special watch-along on Saturday 19th October at 7pm BST.
Time Team heads to Wytch Farm, in the shadow of Corfe Castle, Dorset, where Derek and Lawrence discovered two Iron Age burials back in 2021. They’ve called in the full team to investigate. Was this a cemetery, and how long have people been living here? Where were they living, and, above all, what were their livelihoods?
Will we uncover the secrets of Wytch Farm? We have just three days to find out!

And Kerry Ely finally got a mention as location manager at the very end of the credits…wasn't he an original "Time Team" member? Or, is my aged memory playing tricks with me? What a brilliant episode, unencumbered by the restrictions of tight TV scheduling, I felt as though I was really there and missed nothing: great editing of magnificent cinematography! Wow!
Goggles for eye safety guys. Pounding on something without wearing safety glasses or goggles is too risky.
This is a thorough examination and explanation of this dig, but oh how one misses Mick, Francis, Phil and Tony!
Do not like the host !! Sorry !!
I like Gus's smoothly inquisitive style. Watched the 3 episodes shortly after each was broadcast, and now enjoying this full length compilation. Picking up more details. Always more to learn.
Poor Miles Russell! He worked so hard! Love seeing him!
Well let's face it.. Everyone gave it their all! ❤❤
I had to double check the date of this, once again, Helen doesn't seem to have aged at all since about 2008. She looks exactly the same, Not sure how, but God bless her!
To go back in time for just a day
Happy birthday time team… love own you look at your history way back then
Excellent, thank you
Still loving this show since the first ever episode. Amazing.
Lawrence, what a wonderful nod to Prof. Mick Aston, with your striped shirt!
Thanks!
Digging iron age settlement
Through medieval and post roman layers with a Mott and Bailey castle remains in the background.
Somewhat jealous.
I love the nee Time Team, but do miss the old crew!!! Its like going to a family reunion and finding new people to be your aunts, uncles, cousins, etc…just feels atrange
Phil made time team for me 😊
Who is the really stupid brown person?
Thank you so much, it's like the good old days, when we used to have this thing called decent, educational television.
How it tugs at my hearts to see how friends have aged—to realize how much of life they have shared with me and others, and to realize just how temporary our time is.
Miles has became a Time Team favorate of mine. So wonderfully grounded!
The best part about this episode was the glimpse of the little crocheted Mick Aston doll on someone's desk and Jackie talking John into moving a wheelbarrow.
Really enjoyed that and tbh didn't think about the missing old faces until I read the comments THEN I missed them 😔 Its a great show, it always will be, love it!
My paternal grandfather was stationed at Corfe Castle during WWII and fell in love with the place, I've been there many times, it's such a beautiful and interesting landscape 🙂
Return to Jamestown, Virginia and St. Mary's, Maryland USA. This would be a great tie in from the original and would reveal so much new information!
Love Mick shirt colours. Thank you so much, a great tribute to a most wonderfully missed man.
I really like this show.. but im sorry to say, this new host is terrible boring
Im going to rewatch the classic instead
I'm finding. The narration. Difficult to Listen. To. Because of the. Weird pauses. In places where they. Should not be. Reading a slow autocue?
If only you could bring the passion of your predecessor!!!!!
