I enjoy watching the roads that I'm so familiar with, I would know the route just from the images. I'm not sure why I like seeing you video the routes, but I do😊
Remember to tell your future self to look out for biting insects.
W(h)att a beauttiful ride !
Love forgotten routes but new area now since July still learning good routes got a few fans now but all my old ones are still up north west lol 😂❤
Nice ride dude and your in a great area for your pleasure…..Not sure I am keen on the KM I prefer Miles being in the UK 🎥🚴♂️👌
Just finished a morning ride with inclement weather approaching. Doppler sure helps to make bike riding decisions in the winter.
nice ride and filming through the Southwick lanes Leonard, it is nice having these routes around the south downs – guessing this was filmed prior to gridiron? that ride should have helped with the mental prep for your S France/N Spain trip – enjoy the warmer temperatures than at home!
Inspiring as always…hope Spain isn't bad with all the floods I saw on the news. And also any mosquitoes etc after that. Might have to adjust the bike you use or tyres.
Hi Leonard, watched your vidoes weekly. Watch your video motivates me. But, I ask myself how do you motivate yourself riding alone? I am watching your video from Singapore.
You're one tough gritty dude, man. You demolish those hills. I hate climbing but love going down, non pedaling, yippee-ki-yay!
Different bike shorts make a big difference. I have an old pair from when I was a teen and those fit tight now. I find I prefer lower rpm days with that pair.
Where as if I wear mtb shorts the extra coverage and different fit feel quite odd as well. The other couple pair fit me well and I feel the best riding with those, so I keep them for big training days/group rides.
Today I had a shoe revelation and found I was wearing shoes a little too small width wise. Ironically both my new and old pair are the same brand, and same size. Just a different model…
Whining times are here.. again.. first snow and icy roads. 😣Next there will be "killer sand" on the roads. Winter again. 😞Six freaking months ahead of this sheit…. surviving.. I wish.
Cycling in the North is really a choice to do.
Thats a lovely neck of the woods! Hardly a traffic light to slow down the pace! I recently did one of my forgotten routes and nearly regretted it because the pot holes were in abundance and all I could do was make a quick judgement and swear like an old fish wife every 5 metres until I got out of the bombsite. I can't believe how 'not cold' it has been because I am still wearing my cycling shorts, a sleeveless baselayer and 'spring' armwarmers.
Would you ever consider solo bike packing, maybe from one end of the UK to the other or in another country?
Is there a corresponding village called Drunkerton? I feel this is needed to balance things 😊
Have fun bike packing.
Looking forward to see your captures during your upcoming trip.
Nothing sad about appreciating smooth tarmac when you are a cyclist. Efficient and comfortable.
