In this video, we journey back to the post-Roman era of Britain, where a young boy named Urien was born in the rugged kingdom of Rheged. This is not just the tale of a king, but the beginning of a legend—the rise of one of the most powerful and revered rulers of the Old North. Through the lens of Urien’s early life, we explore the intricate culture of the Britons, their battles against relentless enemies like the Anglo-Saxons, and the spiritual traditions that combined both Christianity and older pagan practices. Discover the world of the Brittonic Celts, where kings, warriors, and druids shaped the destiny of their people in an ancient and mystical land torn by conflict and change.

Hen Ogledd am byth!
It is rare to find quality videos about the Celtic Britons anywhere. Too much of the media is dominated by Anglo-Saxons culture, and though they are fascinating in their own right, it just feels wrong that they eventually came to dominate Albion.
It is a shame the Britons lost to the Germans, and we now speak English, rather than Brythonic (or simply British, whatever the actual language is called before it became Welsh).
So well done!
