Short walks in nature by a pretty canal. Wakefield Canal in Yorkshire provides several miles of countryside walks and is very picturesque in all seasons. Here are some views while walking at different times of the year. Once a great industrial route which would have seen a constant traffic of barges carrying goods, it is now a perfect place to relax and enjoy canoeing or longboats or a leisurely stroll or cycle ride along the towpaths.
