    1. Why do manufacturers keep putting every thing on a central screen where everything is difficult to get to. I was really interested in this until you pointed it out. I wouldn't touch one.

    2. Volvo not great anymore. Reliability and after sales customer service awful. My engine blew up at 40K miles on my Volvo twin engine PHEV just out of warranty, because they didn't service it properly during the warranty period. No come back. Sold it to a problem car buyer for scrap just a few year's old. Volvo UK were no help whatsoever.

    3. Love how they take the price of the cheapest, most barebones variant and then mention the specs (like the acceleration) of the expensive high performance variant.

    4. I think you forgot to mention that the car has google assistant which makes it really easy turning every little setting you want like turning on the fog lights by just saying "hey google turn on the fog lights" or by pressing your mic button on the steering wheel and then saying which setting you want to adjust. Other than that a really good review. Keep up the good work!

    5. فولفو الأول عالميا بالأمان والأناقة والقوة والمصروف أتمنى أن أملك سيارة فولفو فخر الصناعة السويدية

    6. I prefer the P1800, The car with the highest mileage in the world is a Volvo P1800 from 1966 which has at least 3,250,000 miles on it. It also has chrome which seems to be lacking in many modern cars. People have engine swapped and tuned older Volvos to have more BHP than the EX30. Isn't using a touch screen to access everything just asking for someone to get distracted and cash, also if that screen stops working you would be in a lot of trouble.

    7. It still amazes me you guys havent understood you can tell the system to turn the heat up/down and so forth via the steering wheel. Absolutely bonkers people. No safety issues at all. Push a button on the steering wheel and tell the system what to do.

    8. I tried an EX30 on an extended test drive. It drove well but I didn't like it for several reasons. Firstly I could not sit in the back seat with the drivers seat set for me and I am only 5ft 10". ICE cars I drove of this size are beter packaged and the boot is fairly small. It feels more like a 2+2 than a full four-seater. In an EV one should expect better packaging.
The efficiency readings on test also suggested a real range of around 200 mies which isn't that great. The instruments are awful but that didn't put me off as you can use voice control. I ended buying a C40 twin recharge its not that much bigger but has excellent space -goes well too with much longer real range!

    9. The car lost me at not having a speedo screen, how stupid is it to have to keep looking over to the middle screen to keep a check on speed. Most people constantly check speed so more time with eyes off the road

    10. Crazy that a car that is priced at the equivalent of NZ$75k is described as 'cheap' by motoring journalists.

With Golf, BYD, MG and Nissan under $50k, you're paying a whole heck of a lot for the Volvo badge.

A new Polestar 2 is $59k and is at least as good quality as the Volvo – it's essentially the same car. The same spec of EX30 as the Polestar 2 is $20k more

A strong NO from me, and I love a Volvo. Crazily, the XC40 is only about $5k more and is much more car for your money.

    11. Sadly the promised mileage is not reality. I have never had more than 360km on a full charge – I don't speed, no sudden braking, I follow all the rule for an EV. Plus it's not even winter yet.

    12. So to be clear, you challenge Volvo on stated data! “We only have their word for it” but expect us to accept every thing you say without question

    13. Volvo EX90 IS a proper car! 😉 This one is a good entry level toy to try… that's why it's cheap!
Too much plastic and all controls on a screen is crazy dangerous. If anything goes wrong you have no control of the car whatsoever!
