    1. For the Stage 13 TT – why bother with tt-extensions on a road bike, since in a time-trial it is allowed to use puppy-paws position, the aero difference between puppy paws and tt extensions is marginal and you are stuck with additional weight for the climb?

    2. Ineos should go all in for stages at this TDF with Pidcock as leader and send Rodriguez to the Giro Vuelta double. Rodriguez would lose a lot of time in the TT and would bleed time on every punchy stage due to his lack of explosiveness. Peak level Pidcock could do well on the punchy stages, get the likes of Tarling, Turner, Sheffield and Kwiato with him and it could be a break out race for Pidcock

    3. Stage 18: I've ridden up the Loze in the Haute Route via Courchevel at he end of the stage… Courchevel in itself is long and brutal, the last part from Courchevel to the top is insanely difficult. After the Glandon and the col de la Madeleine and a couple of weeks in the legs… This will decide the tour. Having done it all I have to say is good luck to those poor bastards who have to do it!!!!

    4. 2022 Granon and Alpe d'Huez pairing was pretty hard but I think you're right and this is even harder than that. Great pod as always and I'm gonna have to listen to this 10 times before July because it's such a long time until then

    5. 22:50 "Pogacar, is he going to attack?" I'm going to call it here as a yes 😂 only reason he wouldn't attack then is if he's already attacked even earlier 😂

Pogi's said that Col de la Loze is his least favourite climb, maybe that's why it keeps getting included? 😬

    6. Stage 10 comparable to 11 in 2024, hautecam similar to pla d’adet, plateau de beille is a bit harder than the stage 14 2025, 18 and 19 2025 seem somewhat similar to 19-20 to 2024 but climbs are ~7km harder. Ventoux , mountain time trial make a big difference backloaded, comparing that two the galibier stage 4 in 2024. less overall elevation backload but harder cuz back end is ridiculous. Bottomline is differences between dominant GC rider will be greater. Just making sure I heard you guys correctly.

    7. On Stage 18 a good team could stick it to the Pog! But it has to be a good team that can wear out UAE. Long, steep climbs has been UAE's soft spot in the past. My fingers are crossed that this is not another walk over grand tour! I sure hope MvDP and WVA are in form for those puncheur stages!

    8. 1:10:20 I would say the hardest you have covered was 2022 with the Col du Granon stage (with before that the Galibier by the really long side) followed by Alpe d'Huez with Galibier and Croix de Fer before it.
