Surrey Quays shopping centre in London at 1.32pm
The bike's owner Adem Lakeman, who is a mechanic at Cycles UK, said he was visiting a friend and stopping off at Tesco when his bike was stolen from the busy shopping centre.
When he returned to collect his bike, he found it had gone and spoke to a passerby, who had already called the police and showed him the videos he took of the theft.
Adem said he had owned his electric bike for just more than a year and was using it to get to work as he is recovering from two herniated discs in his lower back.
He continued: 'I felt sick after seeing my bike stolen. Suffering from anxiety it's the only way I feel comfortable getting around.

The problem is not that the police aren’t around or that they won’t get there in time or even that perhaps they would do much of an investigation if any at all. ITS THAT NO ONE CARED, ITS AN ACCEPTED PART OF SOCIETY AT THIS POINT. How many passed by? Somebody should have stopped him. Period.
