  1. Sono stato in Finlandia anni fa. Una noia mortale. Gente chiusa, ottusa e razzista che sa solo ubriacarsi allo svenimento, due tre cose da vedere, città e paesaggi tutti uguali e cibo schifoso. No grazie.

  2. 13:34 Well…"this far south" is somewhat relative, since Oulu is on the 65th parallel north. In the USA, it is the same latitude as Fairbanks, Alaska.

  3. That red mushroom with white spots is more hallucinogenic than poisonous for healthy adult, it affects your nervous system, but also causes hallucinations. I'm not sure, but i have heard that drying it up will reduce its levels of poison so using it as hallucinogenic that way is "safer". But there is plenty of other mushrooms that you can cook and eat, you just need to know what are you looking for.

  4. That walker/biker counter has it's sensor by the bridge. There're like 10 of those counters around Oulu along the main commuting paths. Oulu is known for it's bikeability. It's pretty much flat gound, so it's easy to bike here and the city is investing heavily on building bike paths.

We already have a lot of bike "highways" and they're building more each year. They also concentrate on keeping the bike paths in good condition during the winter. That has resulted in about 20% of all commuting being done by bikes, even in winter when there's lots of snow. The counters gather statistics on how much each route is used. That gives an easier justification when they're asking for the financing to upkeep and develop the paths.
